It's always monumental when we take time to pray for others. We stop looking at everything that's going wrong in our lives and we selflessly ask God to bless others. Thank you for praying for the body of Christ last night. Tell Pastor Carolyn that the team from Collision says hello. Thanks so much for sharing!!!

Ryan - I just read your blog on how Our Lord & the Holy Spirit worked in your life last evening and that their peace and rest were present during your worship time at Collision last night. WOW!! Amazing story and I am so glad you posted it today. Last night is usually our intercessory prayer time and there is usually just two of us, but last night it was different. Our pastor, Carolyn, and a Mosaic brother were with the two of us. We prayed peace over the world, over some UMC pastors and their recent decision, over our Global Impact Seminar that is coming up and also for rest for all who are involved in bringing God's word out to the world. So you saying you felt this peace and rest last night during your Collison time - well I have got to say that was exactly the time we were praying for it!! Our God is such an amazing one - he never misses a chance to show us our faithfulness to follow him will be awarded and awarded mightedly. I wish you and your family Peace, Rest and Blessings!! Faith M.

I remember being in High School in the middle of Chorus class watching only a small amount of the footage and being worried about my Aunt who lived in New York. I didn't know how far she was from all of it so I was quite scared. But where I was in my life at the time I remember it not really hitting me the way it hit others. Once I found out that my Aunt was okay I didn't really think about it. Because seeing it on TV and not actually having to face something like that in person It was just so far away to me. i didn't think about my home being invaded or the people who's lives had been taken or even the families of those they'd lost. it's crazy to look back at that. It reaches me so much more now than it did then.

You nailed it when you said it's great to hear an album that feels like it's challenging you to sit and rest, because that is exactly what their music does. Something totally and completely fresh from everything else we are hearing today. This band is changing and expanding the sound of worship. Great review Ryan!
